Help Installing An Hp Deskjet F340 All-in-one Printer For Windows Xp???

I have installed my hp deskjet F340 all-in-one printer once but I had to erase everything from my computer and I have misplaced the printer’s manual. So, I dont know how to reinstall my printer to my Windows XP.

go to this site select operating system download software follow step by step
be sure to leave printer unhooked untill told to hook it up

If you still have the cd that came with the printer than use that and if you do not have the cd drivers, than I would recommend going on the internet and typing in your printer name, and search for drivers for it.

If you have disk or cd that came with the printer then you will find the manual there. Just put it in and start then run the browse then pick drive disk or cd is in then look for manual file or install file.
Also the install program is pretty much standard just put it in and it should run automatically if its a cd, if it is a disk the do the run, browse and pick drive and look for the install.exe or setup.exe file and then run. Good luck.
