Sorry, but no. The C5280 is an inkjet printer, and toner transfer requires a laser printer (since they use toner).
Newegg currently has an HP 1020 laser printer for $99, which is pretty cheap. I’ve seen printers by Samsung and Brother for $60-$70, but recommend the HP units. HP has a long history of making excellent laser printers.
You should try using inkjet photo paper in the laser printer for the transfer. People claim to get better results this way.
I must add that I have been very disappointed in toner transfer for making PCBs, and decided to go with the commercial PCB houses for prototypes. There are some low volume places which will do one board from your layout for a fairly low price, and the quality is much better than the homemade ones.
