Fix an Incorrect “Out of Paper” Message – HP Deskjet D1500 Series Printers

If you get a message on your computer that says you’re ‘out of paper’ when you DO have paper loaded, watch this video and see if it helps. The printer shown is the HP Deskjet D1530, but this video also applies to the HP Deskjet 1520, 1530, 1558, 1560, and 1568. I am an HP employee. I do not represent HP on this site.

Hi, I have the HP Deskjet 3910. People may need to do a hard paper reset to correct the problem. Then they may want to go to HP’s website and download the utility tool to correct any others problems the printer may have. Liked the video, very informative, esp on how to clean the paper rollers and how to do a test print.
