Does The Hp Deskjet F4200 Installation Disk Support Hp F4240 Printer?

I bought the HP F4240 printer yesterday. It came with a disk that said “HP Deskjet F4200 series.” I installed it and at first it worked but today it stopped working. I uninstalled it and installed it again but it still doesn’t work. On a document, after i click Print, then dialogue box pops up but after i click ok it doesn’t print. Also, sometimes a window pops up that says “Subsystem…something something”

YES that disc will work. the F4200 series covers 2 or 3 slight variations on the same basic engine
To help you solve the main error, the “subsystem” error, we’d really need the ENTIRE Error.
Or you can go towww.hp.com support and drivers, See support and troubleshooting

, i’m not familier with thoes printers that you are talking about
BUT
i think in most times and kinds you can install a cd of the sam SIRIES of a kind of a device
i saied siries ,
for example aq 123 and aq124
it is only an example
and your pirinter you asked is like my example
BUT
YOU MUST KNOW THAT ONE OF THOES ARE MOST COMPLETED THAN THE OTHER
THE RESULT IS IF YOU USE OTHER CD FOR OTHER DEVISE
TOW THINGS MAY HAPPENING !
1 . IF CD IS HIGHER THAN DEVISE :
SOME FUNCTIONS ON CD MAY NOT WORK
2 .IF CD IS OLDER VERSION OF DEVIC :
SOME FUNCTIONS OF DEVISE WILL NOT WORK=> WILL NOT APPIER
OR YOUR COMPUTER WILL NOT ABLE TO RECOGNIZE THEM
but i thing , it was better than asking for you , to taste it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

My printer CD not install in my computer. CD No. CB656 10001 (HP Deskjet F4200 series). Pleses solve this problem.
