The main questions, which you should be looking at are the following:
1) Does your laptop have a USB port? If so, then this is a good start. To find out, look at the sides, or rear, of your laptop. if there are plug in points which look flat, instead of round, these are, probably USB ports.
2) Look at the “Supported Operating systems” listed on the price tag. For example: If you are using Windows 98 (second edition), or Windows2000, and the tag says “Compatable with WindowsXP, and VISTA”, then the printer will not work, unless you modernize your Operating system. The best way to tell which O.S. you are using is to do a re-start. When your machine turns itself back on, your O.S. will be displayed (Atleast for Windows).
3) What you need to do is find a printer which uses the same Operating System (O.S.) as your laptop.
I hope this helps

Should work no problem.
You might have to install a cd that comes with the printer and download a driver off the internet.
