Are There Any Special Settings…?

i have to put my computer on to print on photo paper?
i have an hp photosmart printer, hp glossy photo paper and im using microsoft word. do i just hit print or do i have to put it on a special setting??

Make sure you select the proper media when printing on glossy papers.
From my print menu, I select Preferences and then Paper/Quality. Yours may offer different options. The default is Plain Paper….switch it to glossy.
Reason: HP black ink is not intended for use on glossy papers. It’s pigmented ink and doesn’t set up well on the coated variety media.

Yes, just click on print if you have already setup your printer. You may want to save your work as well.

When the printer menu comes up aftyer hitting print, left click on preferences so you can choose photoprinting.
