HP Deskjet printer buying guide

I’ve got an HP Photosmart All-in-One printer. My computer says that it’s connected to the printer. But the printer says the “USB is not connected”. That’s a lie. I’ve got the USB plugged into both the computer and the printer. Ugh! What’s wrong?

I have an HP photosmart 2575 printer, and it is communicating with my computer fine, but it doesn’t print! It sometimes copies things but not often, but i don’t know why, it says the ink is full and there’s plenty of paper… it just doesn’t print!! any help would be so appreciated! thanks!!!

my hp photosmart 2575 printer wouldnt let me print from my laptop. the status of the document says ‘error’. there’s no paper jam and there’s enough ink. how do i fix it?

The refilled cartridges worked for a little while (10 pages or so) just fine, then the ink went dry and also spilled inside the printer. We did not fill the printer with “after market” cartridges. We just injected the ink into the correct holes. (We have an HP Photosmart C3100 series printer).
Did HP program the cartridges to “fail” when the printer somehow discovered the ink was replaced, instead of the cartridges? They are making a bloody fortune from these cartridges which don’t last long at all.
