HP Deskjet printer buying guide

I have a HP Photosmart 2610 Printer. It told me that I needed to check my right cartridge. I did, but there’s nothing wrong with it. I’m positive that there’s ink in it, since it started telling me to check cartridge about 3 months ago. I had only printed about 6 pieces of paper. Any help?

i am trying to print documents and it says the printer’s status id offline. i have it set up on a wireless network and have printed from my laptop with it before. i want to have it set on online all the time.
i have tried restarting my printer, laptop, and the printer’s wireless power.
please help

go to Start
then go to control panel
go to Printers and faxes
Right click your printer
in the drop down menu there will be Printer preferences click it
then go to color in the tab
then clikc Printer Services
then go to estimated ink level in the tab.

it is an all in one printer so is convenient for a student. would the printer come free with cartridges or not? or would I have to buy it additionally?

its some kind of intitialization error with the print cartridges. hp has a troubleshooting online but it just says to take out cartridges and reinstall them. i have a few years experience in copier and fax repair but i dont have a service manual to get an idea where to look.
